Role Description The Ocean Import role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves coordinating and managing ocean import shipments from origin to destination, including documentation verification, shipment tracking, and alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities include interacting with customers, shipping lines, and overseas agents to obtain shipment details, resolve queries, and ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role also requires preparing and reviewing import documentation, updating internal systems, monitoring freight and clearance status, and supporting billing and invoicing activities.



The team member will collaborate with internal departments to maintain service quality, minimize delays, and support process improvements.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of import operations, including Import and Import Export processes.
- Understanding of Export procedures and documentation related to global freight movements.
- Familiarity with International Trade regulations, trade terms (Incoterms), and customs requirements.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage client expectations.
- Experience in ocean freight, logistics, or shipping operations, preferably within an import-focused role.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office and logistics or ERP systems; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Navi Mumbai and adapt to changing operational priorities.
