Role Description The Nursing Tutor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh.

The Nursing

Tutor will plan and deliver classroom lectures, tutorials, and exam-oriented sessions for nursing students, with a focus on Nursing Officer and other competitive exams.

Responsibilities include preparing structured lesson plans, creating and reviewing study materials, conducting regular assessments, and providing feedback to help learners improve their performance. The role involves mentoring students,



clarifying complex clinical and theoretical concepts, and using varied teaching methods to support different learning styles.

The Nursing

Tutor will collaborate with other faculty members to align content with the academy’s curriculum, stay updated with exam patterns and nursing guidelines, and participate in academic meetings and faculty development activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Nursing and Nursing Education, with the ability to teach core subjects and clinical concepts clearly.
- Proven experience in Tutoring and Lecturing, preferably in nursing exam preparation or professional nursing courses.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms and engage diverse learners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration and knowledge of current nursing practices, guidelines, and competitive exam patterns.
- Ability to design lesson plans, exam-focused materials, and assessments, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for presentations and, when needed, support for online or blended teaching formats.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive teaching practices and a learner-centered, supportive approach to student development.
