Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Node.js Full Stack Developer with 58 years of experience to build, maintain, and enhance internal tools, reporting solutions, and operational dashboards supporting Engineering Operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, AngularJS/React, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, APIs, JSON, XML, Bash, and Linux, along with experience working with reporting, visualization, and monitoring platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, enhance, and maintain internal tools and reporting dashboards supporting Engineering Operations.
- Develop backend services and automation using Node.js and Python.
- Develop and maintain web applications using AngularJS/React, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and XML.
- Work with MySQL databases for application development, reporting, and data retrieval.
- Develop and maintain Jira UI/API integrations to support engineering and operational workflows.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Node.js, and Bash.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboard solutions using:

- MicroStrategy

- Metabase

- Tableau

- Kibana
- Support Datadog-based operational reporting and monitoring.
- Work with internal platforms such as HMH Box, Confluence, and Runscope.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation in Confluence.
- Troubleshoot application, reporting, integration, and automation issues.




- Collaborate with Engineering Operations and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable internal solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and operational processes.
- Support the continuous improvement and modernization of internal tools and reporting solutions.

Required Skills
- 58 years of experience in Full Stack Development, Software Engineering, Internal Tools, or Engineering Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Experience with React and/or AngularJS.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with MySQL and relational databases.
- Experience with REST APIs and API integrations.
- Good experience with JSON and XML.
- Strong scripting experience using Python and/or Bash.
- Good working knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Jira UI/API integrations.
- Experience with reporting/dashboarding tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Metabase, or Kibana.
- Experience with Datadog for operational monitoring/reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Confluence for technical and operational documentation.
- Familiarity with HMH Box or similar enterprise content/file management platforms.
- Experience with Runscope or similar API monitoring/testing tools.




- Experience developing internal engineering or operational tools.
- Experience automating recurring reports and operational processes.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and cross-functional engineering teams.
