Company Description Centre for Digital Inclusion and Social Impact (CeDISI) is a registered NGO based in Delhi, India, dedicated to enabling nano, micro, and women-led enterprises to grow using digital and business practices. The organisation collaborates with corporates, NGOs, multilateral agencies, MSMEs, donor agencies, CSOs, CDOs, and industry associations to provide practical digital skills training. CeDISI focuses on empowering entrepreneurs with essential digital competencies for business growth, including AI, social media, digital safety, and guidance on starting and scaling ventures online.
Role Description: The Associate Digital Literacy Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The role involves developing content and delivering digital literacy and business growth training sessions to nano, micro, and women entrepreneurs, using explicit, practical examples and interactive methods.
Responsibilities include
- Designing and updating training materials,
- Conducting workshops on topics such as basic digital tools, accounting, social media usage, digital safety, and introductory AI applications for business.
- The associate will support program implementation, track participant progress, collect feedback, and prepare reports for internal and partner stakeholders.
- The role also requires coordinating with community partners, mobilising participants, and providing one-on-one support to learners who need additional guidance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Training & Development and Presentation Skills to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful learning sessions.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to assess learner needs, interpret feedback, and improve program content and delivery.
- Familiarity with basic digital tools, social media platforms, and digital safety practices relevant to small business growth is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in community training, NGO work, or adult education, especially with entrepreneurs or marginalised groups, is an advantage.
- A graduate degree in any discipline, preferably education, social work, business, or related fields, and the ability to communicate in English and Hindi (or local languages) is desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, travel locally for field activities, and adapt to dynamic program requirements is required.
