About Position:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer / Architect to help design and build the next generation of our RF network planning platform. The product combines telecom domain algorithms - radio propagation modelling, antenna optimization, network prediction - with a modern cloud-native engineering stack.

You will own backend services end to end: designing microservices in .NET, modelling geospatial and network data in PostgreSQL, securing APIs with Keycloak, and shipping to Kubernetes through automated CI/CD. Alongside the hands-on work, you will set technical direction, review code, and mentor engineers across the team. This role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of a deep engineering domain and contemporary distributed systems. Telecom or RF background is a genuine advantage, but it is not a prerequisite - we care more about backend and architecture strength, and we will support the right engineer in building domain depth.

What You'll Do:

- Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using C#, .NET 8 / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Architect and implement microservices, defining service boundaries, contracts, and inter-service communication patterns.
- Design and publish Open API-compliant interfaces for internal consumers and third-party integrations.
- Model and optimize relational and geospatial data in PostgreSQL, including query tuning and schema evolution.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Key cloak (OIDC / OAuth 2.0), including SSO, role-based access control, and token handling across services.
- Refactor and modernize legacy codebases,



improving maintainability, testability, and performance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Containerize services with Docker and deploy, scale, and operate them on Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including automated build, test, security scanning, and release stages.
- Contribute to observability — logging, metrics, tracing — and support production troubleshooting.
- Quality & Technical Leadership
- Write automated unit and integration tests using NUnit ; drive meaningful coverage rather than coverage for its own sake.
- Perform code reviews, define and enforce coding standards, and mentor engineers on design and best practices.
- Estimate effort, break down technical work, and support sprint and release planning.
- Partner with frontend engineers to ensure APIs are well-shaped for the planning tool UI, and help diagnose issues that span the frontend/backend boundary.
- Telecom & RF Domain
- Translate RF planning requirements into backend business logic — antenna optimization, radio propagation models, coverage and capacity prediction, and network optimization workflows.
- Implement and tune telecom algorithms and predictive analytics supporting 4G / 5G / LTE / UMTS / FWA network analysis.
- Work closely with RF engineers and product owners to validate algorithm behaviors against real-world planning scenarios.




- Geospatial & Data Integration
- Build and maintain geospatial data pipelines — ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving of map, terrain, clutter, and network layer data.
- Integrate GIS libraries and external map/geodata services into backend workflows.
