JD: Narrative Strategist & Visual Storyteller (Solution Engineering)
Exp.: 5+ years
Work Location: Hyderabad
Work Timing:
Work Mode: WFO/WFH
Position Type: Permanent (Fulltime)
Notice Period: Immediate
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Narrative Strategist and a creative partner who can take raw technical concepts, complex service architectures, and executive intent, and weave them into a compelling, high-stakes story.
You will be the bridge between our deep technical expertise and our clients' business aspirations. Your goal is to ensure that when we walk into a room (or a Zoom), our audience doesn't just see a solutionthey see their own future success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Story Architecting: Partner with Solution Engineering Architects and Presales Analysts to extract the "big idea" from complex technical requirements. You will define the narrative arc, tension points, and resolution for every major pitch.
Audience-Centric Design: Tailor the depth, tone, and visual metaphor of presentations based on audience composition (e.g., translating a "Cloud Migration" story for a CFO versus a CTO).
Visual Interpretation: Transform abstract data, workflow diagrams, and service models into intuitive, "at-a-glance" visual narratives that reduce cognitive load for the buyer.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a "story coach" for the SE team, helping them refine their delivery, pacing, and how they use visuals to support their verbal talk track.
Asset Evolution: Develop and maintain a high-end visual language for the SE team that elevates our brand beyond standard corporate templates.
What Were Looking For
5+ Years of Experience: You have a proven track record in high-stakes environments (Consulting, Tech Sales, or Creative Agencies)
where the stakes of a presentation are measured in millions of dollars.
The "Translator" Skillset: You can sit in a room of engineers, understand a complex technical solution, and immediately identify the three most important things a client needs to hear.
Advanced Visual Literacy: You have a deep understanding of composition, color theory, and typography. You use PowerPoint/Keynote as a canvas, not a word processor.
Psychological Insight: You understand how people consume information and how to use visuals to drive emotional resonance and memory retention.
Outcome Over Output: You care more about whether the client "got it" than how many slides you produced.
Technical Proficiencies
Mastery of PowerPoint: Beyond the basics, think clean, up-to-date design and non-linear navigation.
No overused icons and random images!
Visual Design Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) or Figma to create custom assets that PowerPoint cant produce natively.
Data Visualization: Ability to turn complex Excel sheets into clear, insightful charts that tell a specific story.
Why This Role is Different
You won't be sitting in a corner waiting for "cleanup" requests. You will be at the table during the strategy phase. You are a key stakeholder in our sales win rate and will have a direct impact on the growth of a scaling technology services firm.
What This Role Is NOT
- Not just a PowerPoint slide designer
- Not a passive documentation role
What Success Looks Like
- Your ability to visualize and tell a story improves the quality of solution narratives
- Senior Solution Engineers rely on your ability to convey complex information in easy-to- understand representation
- You are seen as a force multiplier in complex pursuits
