Head MEP - 20+ years of relevant experience in MEP execution and management, with significant exposure to high-rise residential projects.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- Additional certifications in MEP, Project Management, or Green Building will be an added advantage.

The Head – MEP will be responsible for leading the complete Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, HVAC, and Utility functions across multiple high-rise residential projects. The role demands strong technical expertise, project leadership, planning capabilities, quality focus, cost optimization, and stakeholder management to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Candidates with experience in MIVAN construction technology will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of all MEP works across multiple high-rise residential projects.
- Prepare MEP execution strategies aligned with project schedules.
- Coordinate MEP activities with Civil, Architectural, Structural, and Finishing teams.
- Ensure seamless integration of MEP services with structural and architectural requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets.

Design Coordination
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants and architects for design optimization and technical resolutions.
- Ensure constructability and compliance with project specifications.
- Manage design changes with minimal impact on project timelines and cost.

MEP Systems Responsible for execution and commissioning of:
- Electrical Systems (HT/LT)
- DG Sets
- Transformers
- Plumbing & Water Supply
- Sewerage & STP




- Fire Fighting Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- HVAC & Ventilation
- ELV Systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA System, BMS, Intercom, etc.)
- Lifts & Escalators
- Solar Power Systems
- External Utilities and Infrastructure

Quality & Safety
- Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant IS Codes, NBC, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Conduct periodic inspections and technical audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company HSE policies.

Vendor & Contract Management
- Evaluate and finalize MEP contractors and vendors.
- Review BOQs, estimates, and technical proposals.
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity.
- Verify bills, certifications, and variations.
- Resolve contractual and technical issues.

Cost Control
- Monitor MEP budgets and expenditures.
- Identify value engineering opportunities.
- Optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.
- Support procurement in technical evaluations and cost optimization.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor MEP Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams.
- Build high-performing teams through coaching and technical guidance.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and training initiatives.

Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, government authorities, utility agencies,



and internal departments.
- Represent the organization during technical discussions, inspections, and project review meetings.

Testing & Commissioning
- Plan and monitor testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and handover activities.
- Ensure smooth project close-out with all statutory approvals and documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in MEP execution for high-rise residential developments.
- Thorough understanding of MEP coordination in RCC/MIVAN construction.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire fighting, HVAC, and ELV systems.
- Strong project planning and scheduling skills.
- Budgeting and cost control expertise.
- Vendor and contract management experience.
- Ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 20 years of experience in MEP execution.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple high-rise residential projects.
- Experience working on MIVAN technology projects will be a strong advantage.
- Strong exposure to end-to-end project execution from planning through commissioning and handover.
- Experience managing multiple project sites simultaneously.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality, safety, and cost objectives.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
