Educational Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.

Demonstrated Experience:

- 12 - 18 years of professional experience in design, coordination, supervision, or execution of MEP systems for large infrastructure/ building projects.
- Experience in healthcare/hospital projects shall be preferred.
- Preferably worked in designing 100+ bedded hospitals
- Preferably atleast 2 hospital or healthcare projects considering complexity like medical gas systems, HVAC for sterile zones, electrical and water load balancing.
- Electrical design and implementation of high-rise buildings commercial/hospital buildings.

Skills

- Experience in HVAC, electrical systems, firefighting systems, plumbing, drainage, ELV systems, and utility coordination.
- Proficiency in relevant design and coordination software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, ETAP, HAP, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
- Familiarity with national and international codes/standards such as NBC, CPWD, IS Codes, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, or equivalent.




- Preferred certifications in LEED AP/ IGBC AP, Revit MEP / BIM modelling, Fire safety.
- Experience in site supervision, testing & commissioning, quality assurance, and contractor coordination.
- Solid project management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Design Phase

- Review and coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural drawings.
- Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and design calculations for MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient planning and integration of services.
- Support preparation of tender documents and technical evaluations.
- Provide inputs on energy efficiency, safety, and value engineering.

Construction Phase

- Supervise installation and execution of MEP works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders for smooth execution of works.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor quality, safety, and project progress.
- Witness testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Support handover activities including as-built drawings and O&M; manuals.
