Role Description

As a Founding Member of Technical Staff, you will work on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components and core systems behind OpenLake’s products and infrastructure.

You will work at the intersection of large models, inference engines, distributed training frameworks like OpenLake, vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM and others. You will connect OpenLake’s data plane to real AI workloads and push end to end performance on real world systems.

This is a deeply technical and highly collaborative role. You will turn ambitious research ideas into reliable production systems, improve end to end performance on real world workloads, and help shape OpenLake’s technical direction.

What You'll Do

- Design, build, test, and operate production quality AI infrastructure.
- Improve the performance and efficiency of large scale LLM inference and training workloads.
- Develop integrations with leading model runtimes, training frameworks, and accelerator platforms.




- Profile and resolve bottlenecks across models, runtimes, distributed systems, and infrastructure.
- Translate research prototypes and customer requirements into reliable, scalable products.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and establish strong engineering practices.
- Write clean, efficient, well tested, and well documented code.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go) and familiarity with object oriented and/or functional programming concepts.
- Experience with software development practices including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Understanding of distributed systems, databases, and designing scalable, high performance applications is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze requirements, break down complex problems, and propose practical technical solutions.
- Comfort working in an on site, team oriented environment with strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks; prior exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Pay: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
