About the Role:

We're looking for an AI Lead who enjoys solving hard engineering problems and isn't afraid to make difficult technical decisions.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. While you'll guide the technical direction of your team, we're not looking for a people manager; in fact, we're looking for someone whose influence comes from strong engineering, thoughtful architecture, and sound technical judgment.

You'll continue writing production code, designing critical systems, reviewing complex designs, and helping the team make better engineering decisions. When the team encounters a difficult technical challenge, you're the person they naturally turn to.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

You'll take ownership of the AI architecture for your engineering track, whether that's our LLM and agent ecosystem or the AI platform that powers it behind the scenes.

Some of the things you'll be working on include:

- Defining the technical roadmap for your AI domain.
- Making architectural decisions around foundation models, agent frameworks, evaluation strategies,



and inference architecture.
- Balancing performance, quality, latency, and infrastructure costs while building scalable AI systems.
- Designing reliable evaluation pipelines so every release meets a high technical standard.
- Mentoring engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural guidance.
- Taking ownership of the most challenging engineering problems and contributing directly to production code.

What We're Looking For: We're less interested in titles and more interested in what you've built.

Ideally, you have:

- 6–8 years of experience building production-grade AI or Machine Learning systems.
- Strong hands-on experience working with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and context management.
- Good understanding of LLMOps, model serving, orchestration, observability, and performance optimization.
- Experience owning systems from design through production.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean coding practices.
- The ability to make informed technical trade-offs backed by data rather than assumptions.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping other engineers grow.
