Key Responsibilities

- Type ultrasound reports accurately based on the Radiologist's verbal dictation or recorded notes.

- Prepare and format ultrasound reports according to the hospital's approved reporting format.

- Ensure correct spelling and usage of medical and anatomical terminology.

- Verify patient details such as name, age, UHID/IP number, examination type, and date before finalizing reports.

- Maintain accuracy while typing findings, measurements, observations, and impressions dictated by the Radiologist.

- Coordinate with Radiologists and Radiology staff regarding corrections or clarification of reports.

- Complete and submit reports within the required turnaround time.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical information.

- Review typed reports for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors before submission.

- Maintain proper records of reports and related documentation.

- Handle urgent reports and prioritize work as instructed by the Radiologist or department in-charge.

- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, infection-control requirements, and patient confidentiality guidelines.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the Radiologist/HOD or authorized supervisor.





Qualification

- Candidates with experience in medical typing, radiology reporting, or ultrasound reporting will be preferred.

Experience

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, radiology department, or medical transcription environment preferred.

- Freshers with excellent typing skills and knowledge of medical terminology may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Valuable English language and grammar skills.

- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.

- Good knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and radiology terminology.

- Familiarity with ultrasound terminology is preferred.

- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Word.

Working Conditions

- Work primarily within the Radiology/Ultrasound department.

- May be required to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on hospital requirements.

- Must maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
