Job Title: Medical Secretary / Medical Transcriptionist – Cardiology Department

Location: Meitra Hospital, Calicut

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Secretary / Medical Transcriptionist to join our Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate should have experience in medical transcription and administrative support within a healthcare setting. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Responsibilities

- Transcribe cardiology consultation notes, reports, and medical records accurately.
- Prepare and maintain patient documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage medical records and update electronic health records (EHR).
- Handle correspondence, telephone calls, and departmental administrative tasks.
- Assist consultants with documentation and other secretarial duties as required.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Secretary and/or Medical Transcriptionist (healthcare experience preferred).




- Experience in a Cardiology Department or familiarity with cardiology terminology is preferred.
- Excellent English typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Solid communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Certification in Medical Transcription.

Experience
- Medical Secretary/Medical Transcription in Cardiology: Minimum 1 year (Preferred)
