Role Description The Medical Superintendent at Sterling Hospitals Gandhidham will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the hospital to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The Medical

Superintendent will coordinate with department heads to optimize patient flow, resource utilization, and emergency preparedness, while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include reviewing clinical outcomes, leading quality improvement initiatives, addressing escalated patient concerns, and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal requirements. Qualifications





- Advanced clinical qualification such as MBBS with MD/MS or equivalent, with recognized registration from relevant medical council.
- Proven experience in hospital administration or medical leadership, preferably as Medical Superintendent or in a similar senior clinical management role.
- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, clinical governance, quality assurance, and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, NABL).
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership, staff supervision, conflict resolution, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations and emergencies.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations, ethical medical practices, patient rights, and medico-legal procedures.
- Proficiency in using hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and basic data analysis for monitoring performance indicators.
