POSITION : TECHNICIAN

REPORTING TO : BRANCH MANAGER

QUALIFICATION : DEGREE / DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL RECORD TECHNOLOGY

EXPERIENCE : 2 YEARS & MORE

DRESS CODE : SPECIFIED DRESS CODE WITH I.D. CARD

DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

Key areas of responsibility

- To plan, organize and coordinate inter and intradepartmental tasks.
- To execute day to day activities of Medical Record Department as per the NABH guidelines.
- To manage court case dates relating to medical records.
- To comply with statutory compliance related to the department.
- To actively participate inter & intra departmental meetings.
- To participate in quality improvement activities including audits, development and implementation of protocols, accreditation requirements etc.




- To communicate with the government departments / officials for medico legal requirement on an ongoing need basis.
- The M.L.C. documents are checked thoroughly from M.L.C. making to discharge/ death.
- To do ICD 10 coding for every patient record.
- To supervise & maintain upkeep of medical records.
- To send required data to government agencies.
- To provide static quality department.
- To maintain appropriate departmental documentation.
- To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially.
- To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
- To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
