Qualification
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution/university.
- Valid registration with the respective State/Indian system of medicine council, as applicable.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience required.
- Experience in community healthcare, primary healthcare, rural healthcare, or mobile medical services will be preferred.

- Thatyur – Tehri (Jounpur Block)
- Vikasnagar – Dehradun- Kalsi ,Sahaspur, Chakrata
- Pauri- Satpuli , Yamkeshwar
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient consultation and primary healthcare services to patients visiting the Medical Mobile Unit.
- Conduct patient assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment within the scope of BAMS practice.
- Provide preventive, promotive, and basic curative healthcare services to communities in rural and underserved areas.
- Identify patients requiring specialist consultation, investigations, emergency care, or higher-level treatment and facilitate appropriate referral.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, treatment details, and daily consultation reports.
- Participate in health awareness, screening,
preventive healthcare, and community outreach activities.
- Counsel patients regarding hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle modification, preventive healthcare, and treatment compliance.
- Coordinate with the MMU team, nursing/paramedical staff, and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
- Ensure proper utilization and documentation of medicines and medical supplies.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and ethical medical practices.
- Participate in health camps and community-based medical programs as required.
- Ensure timely reporting of MMU activities, patient statistics, referrals, and other assigned reports.
- Follow all applicable clinical, administrative, safety, and infection-control protocols.
- Perform any other duties related to MMU operations as assigned by the reporting authority.
Candidate Profile We are looking for a qualified and experienced BAMS Medical Officer who is committed to providing quality healthcare services to patients in rural and underserved communities. The candidate should be comfortable working in a Medical Mobile Unit/field-based healthcare environment and should demonstrate solid clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
