Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality compliance during the manufacturing, inspection, and testing of process equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, skids, etc.) as per applicable codes and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and implement Quality Control Plans (ITPs), drawings, and welding procedures (WPS/PQR/WPQ)

Perform in-process and final inspections of fabrication activities (fit-up, welding, dimensional checks)

Coordinate and witness NDE activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and review NDE reports/interpretations

Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII (Div. 1/2), ASME IX, ASME V, and B31.3 as applicable

Conduct hydrostatic/pneumatic testing and material verification (MTC review, PMI)

Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPIA) and client inspectors





Prepare and maintain quality documentation, NCRs, and final data books (MDR/QCP dossiers)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2–3 years' experience in QA/QC within oil & gas / process equipment manufacturing

Working knowledge of ASME Sections V, VIII, IX and welding/NDE standards

Familiarity with material testing, PMI, and calibration requirements

Positive communication and documentation skills

CSWIP/ASNT Level II certification (preferred, not mandatory)

Location - Ambernath MIDC

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
