Role & responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.

- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability through effective maintenance planning and timely corrective actions.

- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective maintenance.

- Manage maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other rotating equipment.

- Prepare preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, work orders, and maintenance reports.

- Coordinate planned shutdowns, major overhauls, equipment inspections, repairs, and recommissioning activities.

- Monitor equipment condition and implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices to minimize unplanned downtime.

- Supervise mechanical installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites.

- Coordinate with construction, electrical, civil, QA/QC, procurement, and HSE teams for smooth project and maintenance activities.

- Manage technicians, fitters, welders, operators, and maintenance contractors and allocate daily work activities.





- Ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, consumables, and maintenance materials.

- Maintain equipment history, breakdown records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and other technical documentation.

- Monitor maintenance costs, equipment performance, downtime, and key maintenance KPIs.

- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company procedures, safety standards, and applicable engineering requirements.

- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure secure working practices during maintenance activities.

- Support equipment commissioning, performance testing, troubleshooting, and handover.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized equipment inspection, repair, and technical support.

- Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and increasing operational efficiency.

- Ensure proper housekeeping, 5S, and protected working conditions in maintenance areas.

- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the maintenance team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
