What role you will play in our team
As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will contribute to the safe and reliable operation of fixed equipment by executing core integrity processes and developing technical expertise. You will work under guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inspection, analysis, and improvement initiatives.
What you will do
- Perform thickness inspection and corrosion data analysis
- Develop and optimize inspection plans for pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and relief devices
- Conduct basic integrity assessments (e.g., FFS, rerates, temporary repairs)
- Evaluate degradation mechanisms and remaining life of fixed equipment
- Monitor integrity parameters and support troubleshooting efforts
- Participate in bad actor analysis and reliability improvement initiatives
- Assist in risk-based inspection (RBI) data collection and damage mechanism evaluation
- Apply digital tools and analytics to enhance work processes
- Stay current with industry standards and practices
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor s or master s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Petroleum Engineering, or similar discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in oil gas, refining, petrochemical, or LNG industries
- Develop and optimize inspection plans for pressure vessels, tanks, piping, and relief devices
- Familiarity with industry codes: API 510, API 570, ASME B31.3, ASME Sec VIII Div 1, API 571, API 580, etc.
- Working knowledge of tools such as PV Elite, Caesar II, Asset Performance Management (APM) Tools, SAP
- Exposure to inspection data analysis and corrosion monitoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative setting
