Role Description This full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role is based at the Niphad facility.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and improve mechanical components and systems used in automotive applications, preparing detailed CAD models and engineering drawings. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with production teams, analyzing performance and quality issues, and supporting troubleshooting on the shop floor. The role also involves conducting R&D; activities, validating designs through calculations and tests, and contributing to cost, quality, and productivity improvement projects.

Engineer will participate in project planning, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design for automotive or industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), including 2D drafting and 3D modeling in common engineering software tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D;), including problem-solving, prototyping, and testing of new or improved components.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and familiarity with quality and safety standards.
- Beneficial skills include data analysis, communication and documentation abilities, basic understanding of automotive industry requirements, and willingness to work on-site in a production environment.
