Job Summary

We are looking for a technically competent and responsible Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team for our Amusement Park, Snow Storm and Resort operations at Athirappilly, Thrissur, Kerala.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring safe, reliable and productive operation of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out day-to-day mechanical engineering and maintenance activities.
- Monitor the performance and condition of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspection of equipment as per prescribed maintenance schedules and checklists.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend to mechanical breakdowns and carry out troubleshooting and rectification.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, leakage or other mechanical issues and take appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure proper lubrication, servicing, alignment and adjustment of mechanical equipment.
- Monitor pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, HVAC-related mechanical systems and other mechanical equipment, as applicable.
- Support maintenance of amusement-park equipment and other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, MEP and Operations teams for smooth maintenance activities.
- Maintain equipment maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection reports and service history.
- Ensure availability of required mechanical spares, tools and consumables.




- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and servicing work.
- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning and handover of new mechanical equipment.
- Support emergency breakdown response and restoration of equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and as per approved SOPs.
- Identify mechanical safety risks and report them immediately to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and reduction of downtime.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and maintenance staff.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in maintenance areas.
- Prepare and submit required maintenance reports to the Senior Mechanical Engineer / Engineering Manager.
- Follow company policies, safety standards, maintenance procedures and statutory requirements.

Qualification Required
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Additional technical certifications will be an advantage.

Experience Required
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance.
- Experience in Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Snow Parks, Resorts, Hotels, Hospitality, Industrial Maintenance or similar facilities will be preferred.




- Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance is essential.
- Experience in handling pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, gearboxes, HVAC-related systems and other mechanical equipment will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a technically sound, disciplined and safety-conscious Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on maintenance skills. The candidate should be comfortable working in a tourism, entertainment and high-footfall environment, where equipment reliability, safety and minimum downtime are critical.

The candidate should be willing to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays and during peak tourist seasons as required by the operation.
