At Planys Technologies, we are building mission-critical robotic and digital systems for underwater, maritime and land applications.

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering leader to own the mechanical engineering function for our inspection robotics product line, covering ROVs, magnetic crawler robots and vacuum-adhesion inspection systems.

What You’ll Do

- Own end-to-end mechanical design from concept through qualification.
- Lead mechanical architecture for ROVs, crawlers and inspection platforms.
- Drive SolidWorks/3D CAD, structural design, FEA and simulation.
- Design pressure housings, watertight enclosures and sealing systems.
- Lead ROV propulsion, hydrodynamics, buoyancy and stability design.
- Work on magnetic/vacuum adhesion and crawler mechanisms.
- Lead sensor/NDT payload mechanical integration.
- Drive field testing,



sea trials and product design improvements.
- Own FMEA, RCA, reliability and mechanical documentation.
- Lead and develop the Mechanical Engineering team.
- Collaborate with Electrical, Software, Field Service, Programme and Business teams.

What We’re Looking For

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a Tier 1/2 institution.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a Technical Lead / Team Lead / Engineering Lead role.
- Robust hands-on experience in mechanical/product design.
- Excellent SolidWorks/3D CAD skills; CSWP/CSWE is preferred.
- Experience in FEA/structural analysis and mechanical simulations.
- Exposure to ROV/UUV/AUV, marine robotics, underwater inspection, industrial inspection, NDT, defence systems, SPM or rotating machinery will be highly valuable.
- Knowledge of ASME, DNV, IECEx/ATEX is an advantage.
