Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for construction plants and equipment, from concept through detailed engineering and production support. Day-to-day tasks include creating 3D models and detailed drawings, performing design calculations, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer specifications.





The role also involves optimizing existing designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness, supporting prototyping and testing activities, and preparing technical documentation and BOMs for production. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to address design issues, support continuous improvement, and contribute to timely project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid foundations in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design and Product Design for industrial equipment and components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
- Candidates should possess the ability to perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in heavy machinery, construction equipment, or industrial plant design is an advantage.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and relevant standards is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
