Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Bengaluru East.

The Mechanical Design

Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems, translating client requirements and product concepts into detailed engineering solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing 3D models and detailed drawings in CAD tools, conducting design calculations, and supporting machine and product design activities from concept through prototyping and validation. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, as well as preparing technical documentation and participating in design reviews. The engineer will also support continuous improvement of design standards, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications





- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to product and machine design.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including component selection, material considerations, and tolerance analysis.
- Hands-on experience in Product Design, covering concept development, prototyping, and design optimization for performance and manufacturability.
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and standards, and familiarity with GD&T; and industry specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a design or R&D; environment in relevant industries (e.g., automotive, industrial machinery, consumer products) is beneficial.
