Mechanical Design Engineer – Industrial Automation

About the Role

We are looking for fresh Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineers with strong mechanical fundamentals and working knowledge of SolidWorks to work on industrial automation, Machine Vision, robotics and Special Purpose Machine projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop mechanical concepts for automation projects.
- Design Special Purpose Machines and inspection stations.
- Design Machine Vision fixtures, nests and camera/lighting mounting arrangements.
- Design conveyors, feeding, orientation and rejection mechanisms.
- Design robotic fixtures and end effectors.
- Design pneumatic and servo-driven mechanisms.
- Select bearings, linear guides, motors, cylinders, gearboxes and other machine components.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, tolerances and BOMs.
- Coordinate with fabrication and machining vendors.
- Support machine assembly and trials.




- Participate in installation and commissioning.

Knowledge of SPM design, conveyors, fixtures, robotics, servo mechanisms or industrial automation will be an advantage.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.

Travel

Candidates should be willing to travel PAN India and internationally according to project requirements for site studies, installation, commissioning and support.

Probation: 6 months Minimum Employment Commitment: 2 years including probation, subject to employment terms.
