: Marketing Manager (Field Marketing & Client Acquisition)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our field marketing and client acquisition efforts. This is not a digital marketing role. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for personally meeting high-value clients, generating advertising revenue, developing business relationships, leading the marketing team, and expanding the magazine’s market presence across Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and execute field marketing and advertising sales strategies.

● Personally meet key clients, corporate accounts, architects, builders, developers, manufacturers, and business owners.

● Acquire current advertisers and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.

● Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Marketing Executives.

● Set sales targets and ensure achievement of revenue goals.

● Identify new market opportunities, industry sectors, and geographic expansion areas.

● Conduct regular client visits and business presentations.





● Negotiate advertising packages, sponsorships, and promotional partnerships.

● Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and market analysis.

● Coordinate with editorial, design, production, and management teams for campaign execution.

● Represent Designer + Builder at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking programs.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

● 5+ years of experience in field marketing, advertising sales, media sales, business development, or direct client acquisition.

● Prior experience leading a sales or marketing team is preferred.

Skills Required

● Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

● Strong client relationship management skills.

● Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

● Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

● Strategic planning and business development capability.

● Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.

● Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
