Role Description The Managing Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for overseeing portfolio strategy, evaluating investment and acquisition opportunities, and guiding the performance and growth of operating businesses across Blake Atlantic’s key sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, setting strategic and financial objectives, reviewing business performance, and making data-driven decisions on capital allocation and operational priorities.

The Managing

Director will build and maintain senior-level relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders, while representing the firm in key negotiations, board meetings, and industry forums.



This position also involves mentoring leaders across the portfolio, strengthening governance and risk management practices, and ensuring alignment with Blake Atlantic’s values and long-term vision.

Qualifications

- Solid background in corporate strategy, investment management, or private equity, with proven experience in building and scaling businesses.
- Expertise in financial analysis, capital allocation, and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing senior teams, driving cross-functional initiatives, and fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures.
- Experience working across multiple sectors such as capital, healthcare, real estate, or technology, with the ability to quickly understand new industries.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with investors, partners, and boards.
- Robust communication and presentation capabilities, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Track record in strategic partnerships, M&A;, or business development, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth opportunities.
- Advanced degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience with significant leadership responsibilities considered.
- Comfort with a hybrid working model from Bengaluru, with the ability to travel as needed for portfolio and partner engagements.
