Paradyes is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Manager – R&D; to lead our R&D; department and drive the development of innovative, high-performing products. This is a leadership role for someone who brings strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of formulation, and a proven track record of successfully taking products from concept to launch.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Hair Color, along with broader exposure to cosmetics and hair care, and will be equally comfortable leading a team and getting hands-on with technical challenges.

What You’ll Do:

? Lead R&D;: Take ownership of the R&D; function, set technical direction, priorities, processes, and ensure timely execution of the product pipeline.? Product Development: Lead the complete product development cycle — from concept and formulation to trials, testing, stability, scale-up coordination, and final product launch.? Hair Color Expertise: Drive innovation and development in hair color, with a strong understanding of formulations, ingredients, performance, shade development, and product quality.? Research &

• Innovation: Identify emerging ingredients, technologies, market trends, and consumer needs to build a solid and differentiated product pipeline.? Product Launches: Lead and drive successful new product launches while ensuring products meet desired quality, performance, cost, and consumer expectations.? Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the R&D; team while building a culture of ownership, experimentation, innovation, and scientific excellence.? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and other teams to translate business and consumer requirements into successful products.? Raw Material &

• Formulation Strategy:



Evaluate and recommend suitable ingredients and raw materials, explore alternatives, and contribute to formulation and cost optimisation wherever required.? Testing &

• Troubleshooting: Oversee formulation trials, stability testing, product evaluation, and technical troubleshooting to ensure consistent product performance.? Documentation &

• Compliance: Ensure proper documentation of formulations, processes, trials, and development outcomes, while coordinating regulatory and compliance requirements wherever necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Experience: 15+ years of experience in R&D;, preferably within the Cosmetics / Personal Care industry, with strong experience in Hair Color being highly preferred.✔ Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Tech. in Cosmetics, B.Pharm, or a relevant equivalent qualification.✔ Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation, ingredients, product development, testing, and troubleshooting.✔ Leadership: Proven ability to lead an R&D; function, manage priorities, mentor teams, and drive projects from ideation to commercial launch.✔ Product Development: Strong track record of successfully developing and launching new products.✔ Business Understanding: Ability to balance innovation and technical excellence with timelines, cost, quality, and commercial requirements.✔ Mindset: A problem-solving approach, strong scientific thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to turn ideas into market-ready products.
