Role Description The Manager QC (Specialty Chemicals) is a full time, on-site role based in Kota. This position oversees all quality control activities related to specialty organic chemicals, including planning and executing analytical testing, validating methods, and ensuring adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves supervising QC laboratory teams, reviewing and approving test reports, managing documentation and quality records, and supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities.

The Manager QC collaborates closely with R&D;, production, and supply chain teams to maintain consistent product quality, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support customer audits and certifications.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of quality control practices in specialty chemicals, including analytical testing, method validation, and specification setting.
- Experience managing QC laboratories, including team leadership, workload planning, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.




- Proficiency in analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR) and familiarity with data interpretation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of relevant quality and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, GMP, environmental and safety regulations).
- Ability to lead investigations, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, including preparation and review of SOPs, test reports, and quality records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in specialty chemicals QC is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support a culture of quality and safety.
