About the Role

We are seeking a Finance & Accounts Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing the organization's accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and controllership functions. This role will work closely with the CFO and lead a small finance team, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and timely reporting.

What We're Looking For

- 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
- CA, CA-Inter, or a finance professional with strong accounting and compliance expertise.
- Prior experience in FinTech, InsurTech, Startup, or Technology-driven organizations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Compliance, and Financial Controls.
- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Audits, and Statutory Filings.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime ERP and Advanced Excel.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting

- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of books of accounts across all entities.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping,



ledger maintenance, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of General Ledgers (GLs), vouchers, and accounting processes.
- Execute monthly and annual book closure activities.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reporting packs.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

Taxation & Compliance

- Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual filings.
- Handle TDS calculations, deposits, returns, and TRACES management.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Controllership & Reporting

- Drive month-end close activities and ensure books are closed within agreed timelines.
- Manage inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and billing processes.
- Support financial planning, reporting, and management reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery of MIS and financial reports to leadership.

Audit & Due Diligence

- Lead Statutory, Tax, and GST Audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.




- Support due diligence activities related to investors, acquisitions, or strategic initiatives.

Process Improvement

- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and financial governance.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide ongoing guidance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Timely Month-End Closure and Financial Reporting.
- Accurate and Audit-Ready Books of Accounts.

Education

UG:

- B.Com
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Preferred:

- CA (Chartered Accountant)
