Mandatory Skills
- Knowledge of community forestation practices and environmental conservation.
- Experience in dealing with Government Authorities and Forest Department Officials.
- Robust documentation, liaisoning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Job Summary We are seeking a Community Forest Management professional to coordinate and manage afforestation projects while working closely with Government Authorities, Forest Department Officials, and other regulatory bodies. The role involves overseeing project documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with local communities and stakeholders, and monitoring project progress through field visits. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, documentation,
and stakeholder management skills to ensure the effective implementation and timely completion of community forestation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Community Forest Management (CFM) projects.
- Liaise and coordinate with Government Authorities, Forest Department Officials, and other regulatory bodies for project approvals, permissions, and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, applications, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with local communities and stakeholders for the effective implementation of community forestation initiatives.
- Conduct field visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality execution.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned activities while maintaining compliance with applicable government regulations.
- Stay updated on government policies, forestation programmes, and regulatory requirements related to project implementation.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Rural Development, Social Work, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Relevant Diploma or Certification courses will be an added advantage.
