Role Description The Manager / AVP / DVP / VP – Wealth role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of wealth management clients, including HNIs, ultra-HNIs, corporates, and family offices, through tailored investment and advisory solutions.
Responsibilities include understanding client goals and risk appetite, designing and presenting holistic financial plans, and recommending suitable products across mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, private equity, fixed income, structured products, and insurance solutions. The role requires close monitoring of client portfolios, regular performance reviews,
and proactive rebalancing in line with market conditions and client needs. The professional will collaborate with research, product, and operations teams, ensure strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance norms, and contribute to business development through relationship management, networking, and new client acquisition.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of wealth management products and services, including mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, fixed income, equities, derivatives, and insurance solutions.
- Proficiency in financial planning, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management tailored to diverse client profiles.
- Ability to interpret market research, macroeconomic trends, and product insights to deliver research-backed investment recommendations.
- Demonstrated client relationship management skills, with experience in serving HNIs, ultra-HNIs, corporates, and institutional clients.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (SEBI, IRDAI, AMFI, exchanges, and depositories) and adherence to ethical standards.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Experience in business development, networking, and revenue growth within wealth management or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, NISM, or equivalent are an advantage.
