Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance & Safety Executive to support the smooth functioning of plant machinery and ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, machinery operations, and workplace safety practices.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance

Plan and carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Attend to machinery breakdowns and complete repairs within the required time.

Diagnose equipment faults and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Repair or replace faulty components as required.

Coordinate for procurement of required maintenance components, fixtures, tools, and fittings.

Develop and follow standard procedures for routine maintenance activities.

Maintain adequate stock of essential maintenance tools, spares, and supplies.

Identify recurring machinery issues and take preventive measures to minimize downtime.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machinery performance and plant operations.

Maintain appropriate maintenance records and communicate issues to the concerned team.

Safety

Monitor workplace conditions and ensure compliance with applicable safety practices.

Investigate workplace incidents and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions.

Ensure employees follow established safe work practices.

Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions.

Support safety induction, awareness,



and training programs for employees.

Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available and properly used.

Conduct regular checks of PPE and workplace safety practices.

Promote a strong safety-conscious culture across the workplace.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Understanding of machinery operations and maintenance practices.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical or equipment-related issues.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures.

Valuable problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to respond effectively to urgent maintenance requirements.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Education & Experience

ITI or Diploma qualification in a relevant technical discipline.

1–4 years of relevant experience in maintenance, plant maintenance, machinery maintenance, or industrial safety.

Candidates with hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial environments will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
