We're hiring: Machine Learning Intern — Medical Imaging (Ultrasound AI)

Healium Intelliscan is building AI for point-of-care ultrasound. We're looking for an ML intern to help us build computer vision models for ultrasound image analysis.

What you'll work on

You'll own real model development from day one — not slide decks:

- Train and benchmark a CNN classifier for ultrasound standard plane detection
- Build object detection models for anatomical structure localisation
- Work with public/private medical imaging datasets
- Set up evaluation pipelines — sensitivity/specificity, confidence intervals, subgroup analysis
- Handle DICOM data pipelines and preprocessing

What we're looking for

- Robust Python + PyTorch (or TensorFlow)
- Solid grounding in CNNs, image classification,



and object detection
- Comfortable reading research papers and reproducing results
- Bonus: any exposure to medical imaging, DICOM, or ultrasound
- Final-year B.Tech/M.Tech/MS, or recent graduate
