Role Description The Head of Logistics is a full-time, on-site role based in Safidon, responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations for Skylark Group. This position leads planning, coordination, and optimization of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of feed, live birds, processed products, and equipment. The role involves managing inventory flows across multiple facilities, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

The Head of Logistics will collaborate closely with supply chain, production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics strategies with business goals and customer commitments. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising logistics staff,



negotiating with service providers, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and leveraging technology and data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Logistics Management, including transportation planning, routing, and distribution coordination.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, with experience integrating logistics with production, procurement, and sales operations.
- Solid background in Inventory Management, focusing on stock accuracy, demand planning, and minimizing losses and disruptions.
- Hands-on experience in Warehouse Operations, covering layout planning, material handling, storage practices, and safety compliance.
- Knowledge of Procurement processes related to logistics services and materials, including vendor selection and contract management.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using ERP or logistics management systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience in agribusiness, poultry, or food processing logistics is preferred, along with familiarity with relevant regulatory and quality standards.
