We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations for pharmaceutical raw materials. The role involves managing international imports, domestic transportation, warehouse coordination, customs and regulatory documentation, and liaison with various government authorities to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Import & International Logistics

Manage end-to-end import operations for pharmaceutical and specialty chemical raw materials.

Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and CHA.

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely clearance of imported consignments.

Review and verify import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, COO, COA, MSDS, Insurance, and other statutory documents.

Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, CDSCO, Port Authorities, and other applicable regulations.

Domestic Logistics

Plan and coordinate transportation of materials across India.

Manage transporters, courier partners, and logistics service providers.

Optimize freight costs while ensuring on-time deliveries.

Monitor dispatches, delivery timelines, and proof of delivery.

Resolve logistics-related issues and customer delivery concerns.

Government Liaison & Compliance

Liaise with Customs, DGFT, Port Authorities, GST, Drug Authorities, and other government departments.

Coordinate for import licenses, regulatory approvals,



and statutory compliances.

Ensure timely submission of required documents and maintain compliance records.

Keep updated with changes in import-export regulations and government policies.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

Coordinate with warehouse teams for receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.

Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate logistics records.

Ensure proper handling and storage practices for pharmaceutical raw materials.

Coordinate stock reconciliation with Stores and Accounts departments.

Documentation & MIS

Maintain complete logistics documentation and shipment records.

Prepare MIS reports on shipment status, freight costs, delays, and logistics performance.

Track logistics KPIs and recommend process improvements.

Coordinate with Finance for freight bills, duty payments, and logistics-related invoices.

Vendor Management

Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, transporters, CHAs, and logistics partners.

Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.

Evaluate vendor performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

5–10 years of experience in logistics, preferably in pharmaceutical raw materials, chemicals, or import-export operations.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
