The Liaisoning Manager will be responsible for obtaining all statutory approvals, permissions, NOCs, and clearances required for residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects. The role involves coordinating with government authorities, consultants, architects, legal teams, and internal departments to ensure timely approvals and smooth execution of projects while maintaining full statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Government Liaisoning
- Liaise with all government and statutory authorities for obtaining approvals and permissions.
- Build and maintain strong skilled relationships with officials and regulatory authorities.
- Represent the company during meetings, inspections, and hearings.
Statutory Approvals Obtain and coordinate approvals from authorities including but not limited to:
- MCGM
- MHADA
- SRA
- Collector Office
- City Survey Office
- Revenue Department
- Town Planning
- Fire Department
- Environment Department
- Airport Authority (AAI)
- Traffic Police
- MPCB
- Water Department
- Electricity Authorities (Adani/Tata Power/MSEDCL)
- Sewerage Department
- Other statutory authorities as applicable
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all statutory documentation is complete and submitted within timelines.
- Maintain records of approvals, licenses, NOCs, and correspondence.
- Monitor validity and renewal of statutory approvals.
- Ensure compliance with Development Control Regulations (DCPR), RERA, and applicable laws.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, RCC Consultants, MEP Consultants, Legal Team, CRM, Sales, Finance, and Project Teams.
- Follow up with external consultants for drawings and statutory submissions.
- Resolve approval-related issues to avoid project delays.
Project Monitoring
- Prepare approval schedules and monitor timelines.
- Track approval status for multiple ongoing projects.
- Identify risks affecting statutory approvals and recommend mitigation measures.
Stakeholder Management
- Attend meetings with government officials and consultants.
- Maintain cordial relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Support management during project-related negotiations.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Update management on approval status, pending issues, and critical risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1015 years of liaisoning experience in the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of Mumbai municipal regulations, DCPR, MRTP Act, and RERA.
- Experience in residential, commercial, redevelopment, and SRA projects.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
