Experience Required: 1 - 2 Year in Li-Ion Cell Testing

Qualification: ITI (Electronics/Electrical) or Diploma (EEE/ECE/Mechatronics Preferred)

About the Role The client is seeking a skilled Li-Ion Cell Testing Technician with hands-on experience in battery cell characterization, safety testing, and performance validation. The candidate will work in a controlled lab environment supporting defence, aerospace, and high-reliability energy storage programs.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform Li-Ion cell charge/discharge cycling using battery cyclers.

· Conduct capacity testing, internal resistance (IR) and DCIR measurements.

· Perform life cycle testing, calendar aging tests, and rate capability tests.

· Execute pre-transportation cell verification and parameter measurements.

· Conduct safety tests (short circuit, overcharge etc.) as per SOP.

· Record and analyze test data using battery testing software.





· Prepare structured test reports and maintain documentation traceability.

· Perform incoming inspection and visual inspection of cells.

· Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and ESD discipline.

· Support calibration and maintenance of test equipment.

Required Skills

· Hands-on experience with battery cyclers (Arbin / Neware / equivalent).

· Knowledge of Li-Ion chemistry (NMC, LFP etc.).

· Understanding of Capacity, C-rate, SOC, SOH, Internal Resistance.

· Basic data analysis using MS Excel.

· Awareness of battery testing safety procedures.

Preferred Skills (Advantage)

· Experience in defence/aerospace battery programs.

· Knowledge of UN38.3 testing procedures.

· Exposure to BMS testing.

· ESD Certification.

· Experience in controlled lab workplace.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
