Role Description: The Lecturer in Business and IT will deliver high-quality, online and on-site teaching at Acaflix’s Kozhikode location in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include planning and conducting lectures, seminars, and workshops in Business and IT subjects, using engaging and diverse instructional methods. The lecturer will design and update course materials, assessments, and learning resources that align with industry standards and awarding body requirements. Day-to-day tasks also involve mentoring learners, providing timely feedback on assignments, supporting academic progress, and maintaining accurate records of performance.

The role includes contributing to curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives,



and participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Business, Management, and Information Technology, with the ability to integrate theory with practical, real-world applications.
- Demonstrated skills in curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment development for higher education or skilled training programs.
- Ability to use digital tools and learning platforms effectively to support interactive teaching, learner engagement, and blended learning approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills, with a learner-centred and inclusive teaching style.
- Proven capability in academic mentoring, providing constructive feedback, and supporting diverse learners in achieving their goals.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, IT, or a closely related field; a doctoral degree and relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in lecturing, training, or corporate education in Business and/or IT disciplines, preferably within higher education or professional programs.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with reliability in meeting teaching schedules, grading deadlines, and institutional requirements.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, staying current with developments in Business, IT, and educational practice.
