About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Trainer with a strong background in the Interior Design or Home Interiors industry. The candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs and designing and delivering effective learning programs to enhance the capabilities and performance of employees across Sales, Design, Operations, Project Execution, and other business functions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the end-to-end home interiors business and customer journey, along with excellent training, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify training needs and skill gaps across different teams and functions.
- Design and deliver training programs for Sales, Interior Design, Design & Sales, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Operations, and other teams.
- Conduct structured induction and onboarding programs for new employees.
- Develop training modules on sales, customer experience, communication, product knowledge, design processes, project execution, and behavioural skills.
- Create engaging training content, including presentations, training manuals, SOPs, assessments, and learning materials.
- Conduct classroom training, virtual sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training.




- Work closely with Business Heads and Functional Managers to understand business requirements and develop relevant training interventions.
- Develop and manage monthly and quarterly training calendars.
- Conduct refresher training programs based on business requirements and performance gaps.
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, performance metrics, and employee performance improvement.
- Track training attendance, completion, employee feedback, and overall training outcomes.
- Support Team Leads and Managers with coaching and capability-building initiatives.
- Ensure training programs are aligned with the organization's business goals, processes, and customer experience standards.
- Continuously improve training content and delivery methodologies based on business needs and employee feedback.

Candidate Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Capability Building.
- Prior experience in the Interior Design, Home Interiors, Modular Furniture, Fit-out, or related industry is mandatory.
- Experience in training Interior Designers, Sales Teams, Design & Sales Teams, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Operations Teams.




- Strong understanding of the end-to-end home interiors customer journey, including lead generation, sales, design consultation, design finalization, production, execution, installation, and project handover.
- Proven experience in conducting both functional and behavioural training programs.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and public-speaking skills.
- Strong ability to engage employees across different levels and functions.
- Experience in creating training modules, assessments, SOPs, and learning materials.
- Solid stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to measure training effectiveness and link learning outcomes to employee and business performance.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Training, Learning & Development, or Instructional Design will be an added advantage.
