Lead / Sr. Project Engineer – Stormwater & Drainage Design

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead / SPE Engineer with strong expertise in Stormwater & Drainage Design to lead the technical delivery of urban drainage, flood management, and infrastructure projects, including international/Gulf projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead stormwater and drainage planning, design, hydraulic modelling, and project delivery.
- Review and develop concept, detailed and tender designs, calculations, technical reports, and specifications.
- Perform/review hydraulic and hydrologic models using SewerGEMS, StormCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and authorities for design development and approvals.
- Drive value engineering, design optimization, QA/QC, and technical compliance.




- Mentor engineers/modelers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Apply BS, EN, AASHTO, WMO, SuDS, and relevant local authority standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering; M.E./M.Tech. in Water Resources, Hydraulics, or Environmental Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, including 8+ years in core Stormwater & Drainage Design.
- Robust proficiency in SewerGEMS/StormCAD, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MS Office.
- Experience in stormwater networks, flood management, drainage master planning, catchment analysis, and SuDS.
- Strong technical leadership, client coordination, communication, and team management skills.
- Gulf/Middle East or international project experience with authority approval exposure is preferred.
