Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a Lead Product Test Consultant with deep expertise in performance engineering focused on designing executing and optimizing tests for complex enterprise products. The role involves advanced troubleshooting scripting and use of tools such as Jmeter and dynatrace to ensure reliable scalable and high performing solutions that support critical business functions including finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

- Drive comprehensive performance testing strategies for complex enterprise applications by designing detailed test plans that align with business objectives and nonfunctional requirements

- Lead end to end performance test cycles using Jmeter to model realistic user workloads and capture metrics that reveal bottlenecks in application and infrastructure layers

- Coordinate cross functional collaboration with development and operations teams to plan test timelines align on performance goals and ensure shared understanding of system constraints

- Perform advanced troubleshooting of performance issues by analyzing logs metrics and traces to isolate root causes across application tiers databases and external integrations

- Utilize dynatrace for deep observability by configuring dashboards and alerts that highlight response times throughput resource consumption and anomalies impacting user experience

- Develop robust test scripts and reusable automation components using scripting skills to ensure consistent execution of complex performance and reliability test scenarios





- Apply database basics to design meaningful data sets validate query performance and collaborate with database specialists to optimize indexes and execution plans for test efficiency

- Conduct detailed analysis of performance test outcomes by preparing clear reports that summarize findings risks and recommendations for tuning and capacity planning

- Guide stakeholders on performance engineering best practices by sharing insights on design patterns scalability techniques and test driven approaches that prevent regressions

- Align testing priorities with organizational goals by focusing on critical user journeys and transactions that directly impact customer satisfaction and business continuity

- Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders when relevant to understand domain specific workflows and performance expectations for financial processing applications

- Mentor junior engineers by reviewing test designs scripts and analysis helping them strengthen problem solving capabilities and adopt disciplined performance engineering practices

- Contribute to continuous improvement by refining test frameworks introducing new tools and embedding observability and performance feedback into regular delivery cycles

- Ensure adherence to hybrid work expectations by effectively coordinating onsite and remote collaboration maintaining clear communication and leveraging digital tools for seamless teamwork

Qualifications





- Possess extensive experience in performance engineering with a strong track record in planning executing and analyzing large scale performance tests for enterprise applications

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Jmeter by building modular test scripts parameterizing data managing correlations and interpreting key performance indicators for diverse scenarios

- Show solid troubleshooting expertise by systematically investigating issues using log analysis metrics review and hypothesis driven diagnostics to quickly identify root causes

- Apply hands on knowledge of dynatrace for application performance monitoring by configuring services analyzing distributed traces and using dashboards to track service health

- Use solid database basics to understand schemas write efficient queries and collaborate with database teams to validate performance test data and optimize critical transactions

- Leverage scripting capabilities to automate test execution environment setup and result processing thereby improving repeatability and reducing manual intervention

- Bring familiarity with finance and accounting processes as a nice to have skill enabling more contextual performance test scenarios for financial and accounting applications
