Key Responsibilities

● Multi-Cloud Network Architecture: Design and implement robust and scalable cloud network architectures in GCP, AWS, and Azure, including VPCs, VNETs, subnets,

routing tables, and internet gateways.

● Interconnectivity: Establish and manage hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity using services like AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and Google Cloud

Interconnect, as well as site-to-site and client VPNs.

● Network Services Management: Configure and maintain core network services such as DNS (Cloud DNS, Route 53, Azure DNS), Load Balancing (Application, Network, and

Global Load Balancers), and NAT Gateways.

● Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security best practices.

Configure firewalls, Security Groups (SGs), Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Web

Application Firewalls (WAF). Ensure network architecture meets compliance and security standards.

● Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Automate the provisioning and management of network infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network deployments.

● Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

● Multi-Cloud Expertise:

○ GCP: Strong proficiency with VPC design, Shared VPC, Cloud Interconnect,

VPN, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Load Balancing.

○ AWS: Deep knowledge of VPC, Subnetting, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway,

Route 53,

and Elastic Load Balancing (ELB/ALB/NLB).

○ Azure: Solid understanding of VNet, VNet Peering, ExpressRoute, Azure DNS,

and Azure Load Balancer.

● Networking Fundamentals: Expert-level understanding of core networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, IPsec).

● Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven hands-on experience with Terraform for automating multi-cloud network infrastructure.

● Network Security: In-depth experience with cloud network security tools and best practices (Firewall rules, NSGs/SGs, WAF, DDoS mitigation).

● Scripting: Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or Bash for automation and tooling.

● On-prem: Expertise in configuring & managing enterprise network hardware:

Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, CIsco ASA), Load Balancer (Citrix, F5), and Switches

(Cisco, Juniper, Arista)

Preferred Qualifications

● Certifications: Professional-level cloud certifications are highly desirable:

○ Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer

○ AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty

○ Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)

● Container Networking: Experience with Kubernetes networking concepts (CNI,

Ingress, Egress, Service Mesh like Istio).

● Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus,

Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or the native cloud monitoring suites.
