Responsibilities:

1.

Strategic

Planning:

- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance business processes, improve productivity, and drive innovation.

- Collaborate with senior management to prioritize IT initiatives and investments in accordance with the overall group IT strategy.

- Own the IT Plan for Essar Capital s internal requirements and ensure adequate involvement from all stakeholders in identifying benefits and building the business case.

2.

Technology

Infrastructure:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including networks, telecom, servers and storage.

- Ensure the scalability, reliability and security of the organizations technology Infrastructure Applications.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

3.

Information

Security:

- Establish and enforce information security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organizations data and assets.

- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security measures, and implement enhancements as needed.

- Respond to security incidents and breaches and lead the incident response and recovery efforts.

4.

Digital

Transformation:

- Drive digital transformation initiatives to modernize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and create new revenue streams.

- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

5. IT Operations:

- Oversee day-to-day IT operations including helpdesk support, and vendor management.





- Work for IT operations of Essar Capital as well as other entities as allocated time to time.

- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems, Services, Application and implement measures to minimize downtime and disruptions. SAP Implementation and Operation experience of 3-5 years would be preferred.

6.

People

Skills:

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.

- Build Digital DNA and Security Awareness among all users including employees, partners and customers.

7. Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.

- Establish governance frameworks and processes to ensure accountability, transparency, and risk management in IT operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

- Proven experience of 10-15 years in a senior leadership role overseeing IT strategy and operations.

- Deep technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure management, ERP Web application, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

- Robust understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the Indian market.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Certifications: IT relevant certifications such as ITIL, and PMP are highly desirable
