Job Title: - Lead- Infra and Renewable Energy sourcing

Role Overview:

To define the strategy for sourcing of renewable energy for all possible locations across India to meet the ESG target and opex savings of the organization. To ensure end to end sourcing and implementation of solar solution at telecom sites including MSC, DC, other Network strategic locations and tower sites across India. Responsible for buying renewable energy through Green energy open access.

This position will be responsible for sourcing and contract execution of technical managed service of Data Centers, MSCs and other Network sites across India. Sourcing of products like Fire Extinguishers, automation equipments required for tower sites.

1.Key Responsibilities:

a. Closely working with Regulatory team for updates of Green energy Open access policy and regulation.

b. Defining strategy for getting renewable energy at different locations.

c. Exploring industry for potential developers of renewable energy for open access.

d. RFP/RFQ for eligible locations and quantum for renewable energy sourcing in open access model.

e. Effective negotiation of price and T&Cs; for getting renewable energy through open access.

f. Negotiation and execution of PPA (Power purchase agreement) and SHA (Shareholding agreement) by close coordination with cross functional team (ESG, Network, Finance, Legal, Company secretary).

g. Strategic negotiation and contract execution of different solar solution implementation at telecom sites.

h. Ensuring delivery of solar project as per AOP target.

i. Sourcing and contract execution of technical managed service of Data Centers, MSCs and other Network sites as per defined scope of work.

j. Effective negotiation for sourcing of Infra products like Fire extinguisher,



automation equipments and services as per Network requirement.

k. Ensuring to meet the AOP target of capex and opex savings (WOW- war on waste).

l. Timely execution and renewal of contracts as per defined guideline and process of company.

m. Ensuring all activities are done keeping in mind to avoid any audit risk and also to support with data and inputs as required by internal and external audit team from time to time.

n. Compliance of all laid down process and guideline.

o. Developing team members for effective output as per defined profile to ensure timely issuing of PR-PO and GBPA (Global blanket purchase agreement) in ERP.

2. Skills:

a. Strategic negotiation, sourcing and procurement.

b. Vendor development, evaluation, performance assessment and management.

c. Contract negotiation and execution.

d. Well versed with sourcing process of RFP/RFQ/Reverse auction, commercial comparison, should cost working, drafting of NFA etc.

e. In depth subject knowledge of renewable energy and fair understanding of technical aspects of telecom project and operation.

f. Robust understanding of P2P process.

g. Cross functional team building and effective communication.

h. Strong stake holder management skills.

i. Problem solving and analytical skill.

j. High level of integrity.

3. Qualifications:

1. B.E / B. Tech in any specialization
2. MBA in supply chain management (Preferred)

4.Key deliverables: a. Timely sourcing of required material and service as per defined time line to support business.

b. Drive the capex and opex efficiency to meet AOP savings target.

c. Contract governance and vendor management.

d. Delivery of solar project in capex model as per AOP target.

e. Contract (PPA) execution for purchasing of power in open access model for strategic locations.
