Role Overview

As a Senior Web3 Fullstack Engineer at Zoniqx, you will be responsible for building decentralized applications (dApps) and integrating them with blockchain networks, ensuring high performance and scalability. You'll work across the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) while utilizing cutting-edge Web3 technologies to develop fullstack solutions on both Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2) blockchains. This role is a Hybrid position, requiring the candidate to be based in or near Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain fullstack decentralized applications (dApps) using the MERN stack and Web3 technologies.

- Design and implement smart contracts using Solidity (or similar languages) on Layer 1 (L1) blockchains like Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, as well as Layer 2 (L2) solutions such as Polygon or zk-Rollups.

- Build and scale highly performant backend systems with Node.js and Express.js, integrating with blockchain data.

- Develop responsive, high-performance frontend applications using React.js that interact with blockchain networks.

- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications through clean, efficient, and reusable code.

- Optimize the architecture and infrastructure for high-traffic, scalable applications.

- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver features on time and with high quality.

- Implement blockchain best practices such as multi-signature wallets, gas optimization, and transaction validation.

- Stay updated with the latest trends in Web3, decentralized storage, and L1/L2 technologies.





- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with at least 2 years working on Web3 technologies.

- Robust expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and building highly scalable web applications.

- Deep knowledge of Solidity and building smart contracts on Layer 1 (L1) blockchains such as Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain.

- Experience with Layer 2 (L2) scaling solutions like Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, or zk-Rollups.

- Proficiency in Web3.js, Ethers.js, and other blockchain integration libraries.

- Proven experience designing and building scalable backend services using Node.js.

- Strong understanding of decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave) and off-chain data solutions (The Graph, Chainlink).

- Solid experience with cryptographic principles and blockchain consensus algorithms.

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid team environment.

- Passion for Web3, DeFi, DAOs, NFTs, and other blockchain ecosystems.

Nice-to-Have

- Familiarity with Rust, Go, or other blockchain development languages.

- Experience with cross-chain interoperability solutions.

- Previous contributions to open-source Web3 projects.

- Knowledge of tokenomics and blockchain economics.
