About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to drive cloud transformation, automation, and platform engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering capabilities, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure across GCP/AWS/Azure.
- Lead Kubernetes platform engineering, cluster administration, and container orchestration initiatives.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for production systems.
- Drive DevOps best practices including automation, security, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Establish platform standards, governance, and operational excellence across engineering teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and automation.

Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Skills





- strong DevOps and Cloud Engineering expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster setup, administration, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting).
- Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

- Strong experience in GCP (preferred) or AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python, Shell).
- Knowledge of Git, GitOps, and source code management tools.

- Experience implementing security best practices within CI/CD and cloud environments.
- Solid troubleshooting and production support skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Istio, or service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and identity management.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.

- Exposure to SRE practices and platform engineering concepts.
- Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) are preferred.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud and DevOps transformations.
