We are seeking an experienced Lead Buyer Contracts & Services to drive strategic sourcing, contract management, and service procurement activities for large-scale EPCM/Chemical/Industrial projects. The incumbent will lead end-to-end procurement processes, vendor management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with commercial, quality, safety, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement of service contracts for EPCM, manufacturing, chemical, and industrial projects.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Manage RFQ/RFP processes, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract awards.
- Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, consultants, and service providers.
- Draft, review, and administer complex service agreements and contracts.
- Mitigate procurement and contractual risks while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor contractor performance, claims, change orders, and contract closures.
- Collaborate with engineering,



project management, finance, legal, and construction teams.
- Drive vendor development, qualification, and performance management programs.
- Ensure procurement documentation, audit readiness, and reporting compliance.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM preferred.
- Certification in Contract Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement will be an advantage.

Required Experience

- 14-16 years of experience in Contracts & Services Procurement.
- Robust exposure to EPCM, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Infrastructure, or Heavy Engineering sectors.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiations, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience handling high-value service contracts and project procurement activities.
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
