We are looking for a skilled and experienced Laravel Developer with 2 years of professional experience in building robust, secure, and scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, with a deep understanding of backend architecture, API development, and system integrations.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend solutions that power web and mobile applications. This role requires someone who can take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules or projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and consistently deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Build secure, well-structured, and high-performance RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases using MySQL.
- Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable application architecture following Laravel best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, messaging services, and external systems as required.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, caching, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and development issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, project managers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support deployment activities and collaborate on CI/CD processes.
- Estimate development efforts, manage assigned tasks, and consistently meet project milestones.

End-to-End Accountability

- Take complete ownership of assigned features, modules,



or projects from requirement analysis through deployment and post-release support.
- Ensure comprehensive and successful delivery by proactively identifying technical risks, resolving blockers, and maintaining high quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in backend architecture, application performance, scalability, security, and code quality.

Client Communication & Reporting

- Participate in client discussions to understand business requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Communicate project progress, technical challenges, risks, and delivery status effectively to management and customers.
- Prepare technical documentation and management reports to ensure transparent project tracking and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 years of hands-on experience in backend web application development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and modern object-oriented programming principles.
- Extensive experience with Laravel Framework.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, versioning, and documentation.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, including:
- Database design and normalization
- Complex SQL queries
- Query optimization
- Indexing and performance tuning
- Transactions and data integrity
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, Laravel Sanctum, Passport, OAuth, Role-Based Access Control).
- Experience with caching mechanisms such as Redis or Laravel Cache is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of application security best practices, including input validation, SQL injection prevention, CSRF/XSS protection, and secure API development.




- Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of deployment processes, Linux environments, Composer, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker, Nginx/Apache, queue workers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable backend solutions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience building enterprise applications, ERP systems, SaaS products, or large-scale business applications will be an advantage.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with AI-powered applications, background job processing, real-time systems, and system integrations.
- Familiarity with software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable application design.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and participating in technical decision-making.
