Mission of the Role The mission of the Paradeep laboratory department is to build a more productive service delivery, to fulfil customers’ needs, with implementation of COTECNA QMS.

The Laboratory Manager will have the responsibility to Overall supervision of technical work under his / her scope. Ensure Testing process as per flow chart.

Key Responsibilities

> Ensuring that person working lab are technically competent. Identifying training needs of persons working in lab.

> Determining work environment requirements in laboratory.

> Selection of appropriate test methods.

> Root cause analysis of internal / external testing quality related non-conformances including complaints if any and initiating appropriate corrective actions against those.

> Ensuring continuing suitability of test equipment including timely maintenance and calibration.

> Ensuring proper preservation of certified reference materials, development of working standards.

> Compliance with quality assurance plan.





> Calculating measurement uncertainty and controlling factors responsible for the same.

> Preparing annual training schedule.

> Arranging training as per schedule and verifying effectiveness of training.

> Initiate and establish continual improvement in laboratory operations.

> Periodic review of achievement of quality objectives and communicating to Managing Partner.

> ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Implementation and Maintenance

> Document Archival and Disposal

> Coordinate Internal & External audits. Ensuring timely conduct. Arranging follow-up audits, Closing the NC’s and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.

Qualifications, Experience And Technical Skills

> Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry.

> Sound experience in testing (5-10 years of relevant experience in TIC Sector)

> Trained ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 internal auditor.
