- Lab Enginneer

- Roles and Responsibilities
- - Develop manual and automated test simulators for embedded control hardware - Perform printed circuit board hand assembly, soldering, and validation - Debug, troubleshoot, and repair PCBA modules and electronic hardware - Support electronics board bring-up, testing, and validation for project requirements - Assist in basic hardware design for power supplies and automation systems - Select, source, and manage inventory of electronic components and lab materials - Provide technical support to Controls Engineering Lab engineers and project teams - Support control wiring, harness preparation, and related laboratory build activities as needed

- Required Skills
- - Strong knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering concepts - Hands-on experience in developing manual and automated test simulators for embedded control hardware - Experience in high-precision PCBA hand assembly, rework, and soldering of SMD components - Robust skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and repairing PCBA modules and electronic circuits - Hands-on experience in electronics board bring-up, testing, and validation - Experience in control system wiring and harness preparation - Experience in electronics lab inventory, stores, and material management - Experience in sourcing and procurement of electronic components, parts, and equipment - Practical knowledge of basic embedded hardware modules and power supply design - Good understanding of analog and digital electronic circuit design - Working knowledge of communication protocols such as USART, I2C, RS485, and RS232 - Ability to provide hands-on technical support in a Controls Engineering Lab setting
